Ski Lessons
With a traditional ski school there is always an element of risk, you are never sure what sort of ski lessons you are going to get, large groups, a mixture of different levels and nationalities, combined with the uncertainty that your ski instructor might not even speak your language. This doesn't have to be the only way.
With Insight there is a choice, we offer a different approach to learning to ski. We specialise in small groups or private lessons which ensures that you get a lot more personal tuition time for your money. We believe in evolving the ski lessons around you and your specific needs.
As a British B.A.S.I qualified ski instructor using up to date teaching techniques and always endeavouring to make lessons fun, I will guarantee results.
I have been teaching skiing for 22 years, in four countries and two continents and was a member of the England Ski Team. For the last eleven years I have been instructing in Serre Chevalier, France.
I hold the highest B.A.S.I qualification - the international ski teaching diploma and I believe enjoyment and learning are strongly interlinked.

Within 30 minutes of being on the slope with Darren my whole stance had changed. I felt more comfortable.
Just wanted to say thanks for making me enjoy skiing again! Finished the week doing just about all parallel turns.
Darren is a great instructor; both my husband and I improved beyond belief after just two lessons.
Introduction to the mountain
Never skied before? Not sure where to start?
Get it right from the beginning, without a doubt the fastest way to learn to ski is a one to one lesson, stop the bad habits before they start.
Confidence Builder
Scared of what’s around every corner?
Control is the key! Working on this will do wonders for your confidence and help you to relax into a more natural skiing style.
Stuck in a rut
Have you developed bad skiing habits and don’t seem to be improving?
Small errors will always hold you back, eliminating them will push you to the next level. I will leave you with clear points to focus on that you can work on long after the ski lesson has finished.
